Nationwide Shipping
We ship our petit fours and tea cakes nationwide using UPS 2 Day Air so they arrive fresh, beautiful, and ready to enjoy.
Orders ship Monday through Wednesday. During the holiday season, from Thanksgiving through New Year’s, we ship Monday and Tuesday only to avoid carrier delays and protect quality.
All orders are carefully packed and cold shipped to maintain freshness throughout transit.

Flat rate shipping of $14.99 anywhere in the continental United States
$6.99 shipping within Washington State
Delivery Timing
Orders shipped via 2 Day Air typically arrive within 1 to 2 business days after leaving our bakery.
Delivery times are determined by the carrier and usually occur between 8 AM and 9 PM. While we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time, most packages arrive before the evening.
At checkout, you may select a future ship date, which is perfect for planning ahead for holidays, birthdays, and gifting.
Please note that weather, holidays, or carrier conditions may occasionally cause delays. While these situations are outside our control, our team is always here to help if something does not arrive as expected.
Order Timing and Cutoffs
Orders placed after 10 AM on Wednesday will ship the following Monday
The ship date selected at checkout is the day your order is fulfilled and handed off to the carrier
For Valentine’s Day orders, please place your order by February 11 at 10 AM to ensure arrival by February 14.
Freshness and Storage
Our petit fours are designed to be enjoyed on your schedule.
- Fresh for up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator
- Fresh for up to 6 months in the freezer
This makes ordering ahead and stocking up simple and worry free, especially during busy holiday seasons.
Local Delivery and Pickup
At this time, Dragonfly Cakes ships directly from our Tacoma bakery. For local availability, please check our Bakeries page for updates on pickup or special offerings.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If something does not arrive as expected, we will always make it right.
Please email our customer care team with a photo of the issue within 48 hours of delivery, and we will take care of you promptly.
Because our products are perishable, we are unable to accept returns. Refunds or replacements are offered only in cases of error related to production, packaging, or handling.
Shipping Advisory
Carrier safety is always the priority. Severe weather or unexpected conditions may cause delays.
While we cannot offer refunds for carrier related delays outside our control, we understand how important your order is and will always review situations with care and consideration.
