Dragonfly Cakes are bite sized pieces of genoise sponge cake layered with delicious buttercream fillings and enrobed in a layer of chocolate. Our ingredients are simple and contain no preservatives or additives. We use natural, plant-based colors and each piece is delicately hand decorated by our talented Dragonfly Team.

Dragonfly Cakes and our sister company Celebrity Cake Studio are owned and operated by two sisters Odette and Mary Ann. My sister and I are the third generation of bakers in our family and we grew up in a bakery on the island of Guam.
Twenty years ago, we opened the first retail store in Lacey, WA and specialized in wedding and special occasion cakes. We turned our childhood labor into an act of love, creating cakes for celebrations with the goal of making every event a little bit brighter. Eventually, we moved into our current location, a cute lavender building in Tacoma, which is home to our production and retail facilities today.
In 2016 we acquired Dragonfly Cakes, a boutique bakery from Sausalito, CA that specializes in petits fours, or little cakes covered in decadent chocolate. Our dedication to beauty translated well to petite fours, where we strive to make every bite a joyous experience.
