A: The literal translation of the word petit four is “little oven”. However, we describe petits fours as elegant little cakes that are ornately decorated. Our petits fours are three layers of cake, three layers of butter cream, and coated in a signature color.
Q: Do the petits fours need to be refrigerated?
A: Our cakes are made with the freshest of ingredients, therefore they are perishable and need to be refrigerated.
Q: What is the shelf life of the petits fours?
A: Our petits fours will keep for approximately two weeks in the refrigerator.
Q: Does the petits fours contain nuts?
A: Yes, all of our petits fours contain a thin layer of almond paste.
Q: What shipping method is required for petits fours?
A: All our petits fours orders will be shipped via UPS using 2nd day delivery. Please see our shipping information below.
Shipping options are designed to ensure that your product arrives at the peak of freshness. We only ship in the continental USA.
Because we offer our cakes fresh, items are automatically shipped priority mail to ensure quality and best economy on shipping. Priority mail will arrive within 1-3 days from the time the order leaves our facility. We cannot control when the item arrives. We carefully pack with enough refrigerant to guarantee a fresh delivery.
The total shipping fee will depend on size of order. Orders placed after 12pm Pacific Time will ship in 24 hours after receipt (Monday through Wednesday). Orders placed Wednesday after 12pm Pacific Time will ship on Monday of the following week.*
